If you submit your order by phone or fax or via an agent, or submit later after the Sale period expires and we have taken it off Special, then your order will not include the special sale price and so you wont get the reduced price.

Change of Name to Coastal Designs Decor
Our company had been trading as both Coastal Designs, for consumer online shopping, and Akcent Decor for wholesale home decor in Australia, for some years. When we had to move our wholesale website to a new host, we found one that could run both types of sales from the same database and same domain name with 2 different sign-in sytems, so it saves us time and money and gives all customers a better online shopping performance. Also the Coastal Designs Decor name is more in tune with our product mix. (Same company, same people, same warehouse, same product style).

We have ceased printing glossy products catalogues for our retailers due to high costs, however you can now view our products and order from this new website with an ipad or other tablet or use a smart phone with the website automatically adjusting to size.

FREIGHT AND DELIVERY. (We give you the Best Freight Rates)
We DONT try to make money out of the freight cost, and we DONT pump up our product prices and then offer you seemingly cheap freight. We DO however have cheap freight rates, because we are high volume freight customers for our freight contractor. Our policy is for all freight to be charged at the actual cost incurred, passing on ALL discounts to you the customer. Our freight has a flat rate per order of around $11 and then a rate per Cubic meter of space. (So don’t be frightened to split an order into 2 lots if you need some promptly. It makes little difference to the freight cost).
You will see your freight cost in the checkout or on the pro-forma invoice before you are asked to pay for it.
Unless other arrangements have been specifically requested by you, orders are usually processed by the next day and are dispatched then or the following day depending on the time order is placed.

Our current freight special is free freight for standard consumer orders exceeding $150.00 at regular retail price, and where the delivery postcode falls in any of the following city metro area rates for our shipping agents; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong, Gold Coast. OUT OF STOCK ITEMS & BACK ORDERS.
Normally our web-site catalogue keeps track of our stock on hand and displays an item as unavailable when it is out of stock. If however your ordered item is out of stock we will advise and omit it from your order adjusting the charge. Out of stock Items need to be subsequently re-ordered by the customer. We do not cater for them as back-orders unless you specifically request that on a particular order.
CURRENCY.
All amounts shown on the web-site are in Australian dollars. We do not supply goods delivered to areas outside of the Australasia Region
GOODS AND SERVICES TAX.
All goods supplied in Australia incur an Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST), currently 10%. Freight charges also incur GST. For our customers convenience our wholesale prices do not include GST until summarised on the order

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any or all items purchased from this web-site simply claim a refund within 30 days using our online claim system, or by faxing or emailing a Return Advice, and then dispatch return of your purchase UNDAMAGED within 30 days of dispatch for a full refund.
WRONG OR DAMAGED GOODS
If you receive a product you believe to be damaged or faulty, simply claim a refund, using our online claim system, or otherwise in writing ( Fax, Email, or Letter listing the items ) within 30 days, and then return your purchase, within a further 7 days of dispatch. Alternately to avoid return freight costs please send us a digital photo of the damaged goods by email.
When returned, or confirmed damaged by photo, we will provide you with a credit note against your account for your next purchase, unless you specifically request a refund. Please document any damage to packaging which indicates goods were damaged in transit.
WRONG GOODS
If you receive a product you believe to be the wrong product, simply claim a refund, using our online claim system, or otherwise in writing ( Fax, Email, or Letter listing the items ) within 30days. and then return your purchase, within the 30 days of dispatch. When returned, we will issue a credit note or if required, ship the replacement item and pay our freight costs where we are at fault.
RETURNS
After submission of a written Return Advice, return goods should be properly packaged and shipped to our warehouse at Unit 3, 339 Hillsborough Rd, Warners Bay NSW 2282. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods returned or freight incurred without submitting a written return advice within 30 days of dispatch.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
